Beckonridge Homeowners’ Association Welcomes Tara Brady as Association Manager

BHOA is excited to announce that we have hired Tara Brady as our new part-time Association Manager. Tara recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest from Louisville, KY. She and her family are Beckonridge residents. Tara has experience working with homeowners’ associations and has expert data analysis, organizational and customer service skills.  Tara enjoys hiking, good food, and Alabama football (Roll Tide). Tara, her partner and her children enjoy new adventures so if you know of any *must do’s* in the area, let her know.

Part time Homeowner’s Association Manager Position

Wages $19.31 – $24.00 per hour, DOE

20-32 hours a week, with a minimum of 3 days a week in office and one evening a month

Private Homeowners Association in University Place, WA seeking to fill a part-time administratvie position

The Association Manager functions as the interface between the Beckonridge Homeowners’ Association (BHOA) Board of Trustees and the members and the public for conducting the business of the association.  The position reports to the BHOA President of the Board of Trustees.

In search of an individual to meet the following expectations:

  • Maintain responsibility for all administrative requirements for the association including workplace compliance
  • Manage all correspondence on behalf of the association, its officers and committees
  • Receiving and processing inquiries, deliveries, financial reviews, payroll materials, tax materials, forms and applications, real property transactions such as liens, and confidential homeowner information.
  • Bonded or bondable professional
  • Data entry using computer applications such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and use of other office machines
  • Process employee hours for bi-weekly payroll
  • Billing/receiving and budgeting
  • Be a self-starter and organized; able to work independently
  • Experience in working with people, problem solving, and public communications

Pool Update

Its been exciting seeing the transformation of our pool! We are in the heart of it right now where everything is all torn up and its easy to wonder how this could possibly all come together, but rest assured everything is on track.  This week, coping stones are being laid and strip drains installed. Tile work will be done next week followed by prep work for the concrete deck.  Check back here for more updates and pictures!

Pool Renovations and Repairs

Greetings Beckonridge Community,

Exciting News!  This fall the Facilities committee worked to obtain bids to make some much needed renovations to our pool.  The work will start next weekend (Jan 31st and Feb 1st) and ultimately be completed around the end of May.  During times of construction, we can expect traffic from heavy machinery and construction noise, especially at the start of the project as they demolish the old concrete deck and haul it away. The bulk of the work will take place between the hours of 8am to dusk in an effort to minimize disruption as much as possible.  As we move into spring and better weather, another round of construction will take place as a new concrete deck is put in place and the pool resurfaced.

This capital improvement to our community is long overdue and we can expect to enjoy this work for well over 20+ years. Our pool is a focal point for the Beckonridge community, reflected in pool memberships that pay for operating costs and in the capital reserves set aside annually for this type of required asset management.
